The Cyprus Energy Agency participates in the European project Energeewatch, that aims to train the Local Authorities [LAs] in Europe in the preparation of Energy and Climate Action Plans. The project is funded by the European Commissions' research and innovation programme "Horizon 2020", and encompasses specialized training seminars to be held by organizations with expertise in the following thematic:
- Energy Data Collection
- Monitoring, Reporting and Verification
- Indicators and Strategies for Adaptation to Climate Change
- Data Display and Promotion
The Cyprus Energy Agency has been selected to deliver the training seminars on Monitoring, Reporting and Verification to Energy Agencies and LAs across Europe.
