Christina Palochi is an Architect-Engineer (Diploma, BSc), graduate of the University of Cyprus, also holding an MSc in Architectural Engineering: Environmental Design from the University of Bath, UK. She is a registered member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber and a trained and certified "PassivHaus Designer" by the Passive House Institute (PHI). Ηer research interests focus on kinetic mechanisms, adaptive facades, passive and environmental design, and energy performance of buildings.
Regarding her professional experience, she has been working in the construction industry as an Architect-Engineer, mainly in designing various types of buildings, as well as preparing submissions for town planning and building permits. Since November 2021, she is a member of the Cyprus Energy Agency, in the Department of Energy Efficiency and Renewables, and participates in European co-financed projects.
