Within the framework of the European project's action ASSERT, co-funded by the European LIFE program, the Cyprus Energy Office organizes and invites Persons with Disabilities [PWDs] to a Focus Group, which aims to better understand:
- of energy needs in their daily lives,
- of the thermal comfort conditions in their household, but also
- the challenges they face in relation to the energy they consume.
The Focus Group will be held on Friday, 12/09/2025, 17:00-19:00, at the University of Cyprus Campus (Room 018)*The invitation is addressed to exclusively to people with physical, motor, sensory, mental, and/or other disabilities, who have reached the age of 18ο year of their age. Interested parties can participate in the Focus Group independently, or with the help of a companion.
The resulting discussion will help to collect valuable information on the real experiences of PWDs, with the ultimate aim of promoting appropriate and fairer energy policies and practices. It is noted that before the discussion, participants (the individuals themselves or their legal representatives) will be asked to complete a short questionnaire, as well as a consent form in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the ethical principles of the research.
