Through the Grants Scheme for Strengthening Resilience and Adaptation of Communities to Climate Change, the Pyrgos Community seeks to develop a route that will connect the urban area with the existing nature trail that ends at the top of the hill, known as the "Pyrgos Panorama".
The project that combines the C' and B' Category of Investments of the Plan (Investments in Sustainable Mobility Infrastructure and Investments to Strengthen the Adaptation and Resilience of Communities to Climate Change, respectively), includes tree planting and installation of urban equipment along the path, such as benches, water fountains and markings. A bicycle rack will be installed at the starting point of the path, while at the top of the hill, which is a stop for most users, a pergola with climbing plants and additional urban equipment, such as waste separation baskets and benches, will be installed.
