Utilizing the resources it secured from the Grant Scheme for Strengthening Resilience and Adaptation of Communities to Climate Change, the Kokkinotrimithia Community seeks to transform an area next to the Nicosia-Limassol intercity road, on the side of its urban center, and specifically, on Irini and Filias Street, into a park with mainly endemic trees, which will provide shade in conditions of intense sunlight and high water absorption in cases of flooding.
The project, which is included in Category B of investments of the Grant Scheme (Investments to Strengthen the Adaptation and Resilience of Communities to Climate Change), also includes the installation of urban equipment, such as tables, benches and waste separation bins.
