Utilizing the resources it secured from the Grant Scheme for Strengthening Resilience and Adaptation of Communities to Climate Change, the Kokkinotrimithia Community seeks to transform an area near the Nicosia-Troodos intercity road, on the side of its urban center, into a park with mainly endemic trees, which will provide shade in conditions of intense sunshine and high water absorption in cases of flooding.
The project included in Category B of investments of the Grant Scheme (Investments to Strengthen Adaptation and Resilience of Communities to Climate Change), It also includes urban equipment, such as tables, benches and waste separation baskets.
