The Municipal District of Lympia will proceed with a project that falls under Category B of Investments of the Grant Scheme for Strengthening the Resilience and Adaptation of Communities to Climate Change (Investments to Strengthen the Adaptation and Resilience of Communities to Climate Change).
The project involves tree planting and the installation of pergolas in combination with climbing plants, to create natural shading and adapt the Community to high temperatures and sun exposure. It also includes the installation of urban equipment. The investment will be implemented in areas within the urban area that are accessible to the public - specifically, in the Agia Paraskevi Park, the Green Space on Ithakis Street and the Lympia Cultural Center.
