The Cyprus Energy Office, in cooperation with the relevant associations and organizations representing persons with disabilities, offers The Cyprus Energy Agency, in cooperation with the associations and organisations that represent people with disabilities (PWDs) in Cyprus, provides to the beneficiaries free technical support to apply for a sponsorship for photovoltaics. The technical support includes:
- Submission of application for pre-approval
- Visits at the interested households in Cyprus to identify their energy needs
- Preparation of a report with advices on improving energy efficiency
- Installation of a permanent smart metering equipment to testify the energy savings
- Support during the submission and management of the applications within the framework of the Grant Scheme
- Constant communication with the beneficiaries and progress updates on the implementation of the interventions
