Soula Karras is a graduate of the University of Frederick in Cyprus, 2011, a Civil Engineer (BSc). 2012 took her Masters in Civil Engineering from City University of the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber and a qualified international evaluator of the Environmental Assessment BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment). In addition, she attended training courses for Sustainable Construction, Passive Houses and Energy Efficient Residences.
She began her career as assistant engineer at the Ministry of Interior of Cyprus, where she participated in the monitoring and management of the marketing of the construction products market and in the preparation of the legislation concerning Urban Planning, Building Materials and Energy Performance of Buildings. In February of 2019, he joined the Energy Office of Cypriot Citizens as a civil engineer, studying the energy performance of buildings, training and activities for students in the local community, and providing technical support for energy projects. Finally, he participates in European co-funded projects as a technical expert, and is involved in efforts such as training and enhancing the capabilities of stakeholders in the energy and construction sectors.
