PRISMI

Promoting RES Integrationfor Smart Mediterranean Islands.

The PRISMI project aims to support the local and regional authorities of the Mediterranean islands in planning their transition to low-carbon energy systems in a cost-effective way. In particular, the PRISMI project aims at developing an integrated toolbox for the evaluation and mapping of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and the development of penetration scenarios for the island's electrical systems. PRISMI aims to facilitate cooperation and stakeholder dialogue towards the development of ambitious, yet realistic, Sustainable Energy Action Plans in the Mediterranean islands.

Project activities benefit from European funding under the 1 Call for Proposals "of the trans-European European Cooperation Program for the Mediterranean region," Interreg MED 2014-2020 ". The European Regional Development Fund with € 509.637 contributes to the 85% project support of the total budget of € 599.573.
