For the third consecutive year, we are organizing the "Pioneers in Practice" European Mobility and Climate Innovation Program. The program aims to bring together professionals and organizations from the public and private sectors and from research institutions active in environmental and climate change issues.
Why participate in the program Pioneers into Practice as a Pioneer?
When you participate in the program as Pioneer you will have the opportunity to work for 4-6 weeks in another European country, in a business or organization, on climate change, sustainable mobility and environmental protection. During your placement, you will work with the "host" business to find a solution to a specific issue to be determined by the business / organization.
As part of the program, you will complete an online training program, join two experiential workshops, and work group work on a climate innovation issue that concerns a local business / organization.
The program is aimed at people who are ready to go out of their comfort zone, they want to contribute to a low-carbon economy and are willing to work with people from different scientific fields and workplaces in the field of climate change.
Why participate in the program Pioneers into Practice as a host;
Ως business / host organization (host) you will be hosting a Pioneer from Europe who will share with you their experience and know-how, as well as the knowledge gained from participating in the program, in order to find a solution to specific issues in which your organization operates. You will have the opportunity to choose the Pioneer you would like to work on with a number of stakeholders, with no cost involved.
Participation grant for them Pioneers
The program subsidizes the participation of professionals (pioneers) up to and including 2000 euro per professional, to cover travel, subsistence and food expenses in the place of installation.

Applications for participation in the program as a Pioneer practitioner or as a host / organization are accepted until 11 April 2018, 24: 00 (CET).
